Rabbi Amram Ben Diwan Heritage Center, Kochav Hasha’har
The Rabbi Amram Ben Diwan Heritage Center is a community center of Jewish spirituality that aspires to embody and transmit the values of the tzadik Rabbi Amram. additionally, It is located in the religious community village of Kochav Hasha’har, in the heart of Judea and Samaria in the Benyamin region. Its activity is inspired by love for the people of Israel, love for the Land of Israel and love for the Torah of Israel. It works for the preservation and transmission in the land of Israel of Judaism according to the tradition of North Africa,also an ancient, abundant and generous Jewish tradition that moves and delights all those who have the merit of knowing it.
The center serves the community by means of a synagogue, a study circle and community activities that keep the flame of Moroccan and North African Judaism as alive through the study and practice of its halachic tradition, its liturgical tradition (poetic and musical) and its exegetical tradition of PaRDeS: ‘houmash, mishna, talmud, midrash and Zohar.
Additionally, the community organizes events and conducts projects that embody and animate the cultural tradition of our fathers.
